Wash and Go - Definition and Volume!
For me every wash and go is different. Sometimes, I’ll want a more voluminous fluffy look that takes less time to dry. In that case I’ll use a lighter product like a conditioner, and diffuse my hair dry. Other times, I want my hair to be sleek, moisturized, and juicy. I almost wrote “moist” instead of juicy, but you get the idea. There are pros and cons to each approach, when I go for a fluffy look, my curls get lost in the shuffle because there’s nothing holding them together. Or, if I go sleek and juicy I have to use heavier curling products or a ton of gel to get the definition, and it’s not until day 3 that I get the volume.
Well not any more, you can get volume and definition on the first day using this wash and go technique. It blends the best of both worlds giving you defined clumpy curls with sky high volume. It’s all thanks to FLAXSEED GEL. Seriously, this gel is a miracle worker. It’s so slippery that it coats every single strand bringing out your curls natural pattern. The flaxseed gel is also super light, so when it dries your curls aren’t weighted down. The video breaks it down and I’ll give you some of the specifics below.
What you need:
Bekekoa Smoothing Leave In
How to do it:
- Gather all of your products, except for the oil, and bring them into the shower
Shampoo and condition your hair in four sections. Apply the shampoo, rinse it out. Apply the conditioner, leave it in, move on to next section.
Finish shower rituals.
Rinse conditioner out with cool water.
Apply Deep conditioner and get out of shower to allow it to sit on your hair for at least 30 mins.
Rinse deep conditioner out with cool water and separate hair into 4 sections.
Add water and leave in conditioner to one section starting in the back.
Apply flaxseed gel GENEROUSLY then move on to each section repeating same method.
how to dry:
To soak up any excess product, I blot my hair with a microfiber towel.
Allow hair to air dry, it usually takes 4-6 hours.
Once fully dry, coat hands with oil and scrunch them into the hair to get rid of the gel cast.
Use a pic or fingers to shape the hair or add a bobby pin in the front for some faux bangs.
